Life Skills recently worked on an entrepreneurial lesson. As a culminating activity, each class broke into teams and created a food truck from scratch. The classes voted, and each winning truck created a meal from their specialty dish on the menu they designed.

Mrs. Snipes’ 6th grade Science classes had a great time learning the technique of discovering fossils, as well as analyzing and identifying them! 🦴🔍 Students worked hands-on like real scientists, carefully examining fossil patterns and making observations about what they discovered.
Activities like this help bring science to life and make learning exciting and memorable for our students. Great job to Mrs. Snipes and her classes for their hard work and curiosity in the lab! 🧪🌎👏

Afterschool Quality Survey - KMS Afterschool Program
Greetings, KMS Families.
Our afterschool program is made possible in part by a grant from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). As part of that grant, we are asking for your input about the afterschool program and the impacts it has made on your child and family. Please take a few short minutes to complete the survey and provide us feedback on how we can best serve your family and child.

Dustin Brooks and Jennifer Cobb of Kennett Bowling Lanes visited our 8th grade Ag Science class, where students are learning about food safety. They talked to the students about how to properly cook, chill, separate, and heat food so that it is safe to eat. Thank you to Kennett Bowling Lanes for giving our students real-world examples that support our learning objectives!
