🎉🚌 KMS NJHS & STUCO Annual Hijinx Field Trip! 🚌🎉 Our KMS National Junior Honor Society and Student Council students had an AMAZING time on their annual trip to Hijinx! 🎳🎮 From bowling and games to lots of laughs with friends, it was a day full of fun, teamwork, and well-deserved celebration! 🙌 These students continue to represent KMS with leadership, service, and positive character—and this trip is just one way we recognize their hard work throughout the year! 💪✨ We are proud of each of you and the example you set for others! 🖤💛

We have been closely monitoring today’s weather conditions, working with our local emergency management team, and reviewing updates from the National Weather Service. Due to the potential for severe weather, including high winds and large hail, and inclement weather anticipated around our regular dismissal time and during bus routes, we will dismiss early today at 2:00 PM to ensure all students can return home safely with their families. Please be prepared and have a plan in place for this early dismissal. We will continue to communicate any additional updates through our usual channels. KMS is excited to welcome Mr. Tony Woodside as our new 7th Grade ELA teacher for the 2026–2027 school year! 🖤💛

We are thrilled to have him join our team and look forward to the impact he will make in strengthening students’ reading, writing, and communication skills. 📚✏️✨ Mr. Woodside brings a passion for literacy and a commitment to student success, and we can’t wait to see our students grow in his classroom.
