Message from the Superintendent
Good evening, families and community members,
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and we are excited to see everyone back on campus! Please note that school will be in session, and while road conditions have improved in most areas, our buses will not travel on roads that remain covered in ice. Student safety is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding. We also ask everyone to use extreme caution when loading and unloading at each campus. Students, don’t forget to bring your Chromebook back to school with you!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We can’t wait to see our students tomorrow!
Don't miss your Google Meets!

Don't miss your Google Meets. We will see you soon! ❄️☃️
"...and as always, have a great day at KMS where Kids are Modeling Success... and I love Ya!" 🖤💛

After reviewing road conditions across the district, we have several areas with hazardous side-road conditions. As a result, KSD #39 will utilize our fourth AMI Day tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026.
KSD #39 transports more than 1,000 students each day, and the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor road and weather conditions closely and will communicate our decision regarding a return to in-person learning as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe.
