"KMS Summer School was a successful two weeks!! We learned about cells, famous Missourians, food webs, Missouri geography & symbols, Mark Twain, Lewis and Clark/Sacagawea, and the science of how popcorn pops & the history of popcorn! We made edible cells, Missouri symbol bookmarks, decorated Missouri cookies (thanks Julie Lack!), listened to music by some of our Famous Missourians, created food webs, made friendship bracelets, folded paper canoes, watched the 1963 Tom Sawyer movie, and made popcorn on the stove!! The best part was hearing kids say 'summer school is fun!' 😊❤️"
