HOCO Spirit Week at KMS!💛🖤


KMS Teen Outreach Program (TOP) began this week. A big thanks to our TOP sponsors, Mrs. Danielle Wilson and Mrs. Jane Cook!






Our KMS students are enjoying our after school enrichment sewing class with Mrs. Johnson. This week they learned how to thread a needle, tie a knot, and hand sew a basic running stitch.





Mrs. Cohn's 6th grade Comm Arts students used black lights and highlighters to find the figurative language in our poetry!

Mrs. Payne's STEM students are encouraged to be creative and explore in their learning at KMS 😃











Our Ag Science students reviewed the parts of a plant with a salad day. Students had to order the ingredients based on what part of the plant it came from: roots, stem, leaf, flower, or seed.

***KMS Football Game Update, 9/12/24***
This evening's KMS Football Game time has been moved up to a 4:30 start time due to weather.

KMS Before and After School Tutoring and Enrichment Activities begin on Monday, September 16.

Mrs. Payne's 8th grade STEM students created a chair out of cardboard! No glue or tape allowed, just cardboard. A big thanks to CLGW for providing cardboard boxes for this assignment! 😊






Mrs. Green's 6th grade classes were showing off their cooking skills for the first time at KMS today! Fresh baked cookies, anyone? 😁








We had a special guest at lunch today at KMS! Officer Hale of the Kennett Police Department dropped by to visit with our students 😊.

Students in Mrs. Johnson's ELA classes recently participated in a group activity where they had to determine the plot of a short story, Mirror Image.
