📣 Special Visit at KMS! 🏀
We were thrilled to welcome Corey the Dribbler to KMS! Corey, a former Harlem Globetrotter and motivational speaker, inspired our students with his amazing basketball skills and important messages on teamwork, perseverance, and positive decision-making. It was a fun and uplifting experience for everyone!
Thank you, Corey, for sharing your talents and wisdom with us. You’ve definitely left a lasting impact on our students!

📣 Exciting Activity Alert in Mrs. Ellison's 6th Grade Social Studies Classes!
Our KMS students stepped back in time and tried their hands at ancient writing! They wrote their names using cuneiform, the writing system developed by the Sumerians of ancient Mesopotamia. While the Sumerians used clay tablets and a reed stylus, our students got creative with play dough and wooden popsicle sticks!
This hands-on project gave them a unique glimpse into history and the origins of written communication. Way to go, KMS students! 🖤💛

🌟 Red Ribbon Week Highlights at KMS! 🌟

🧵🪡Congratulations to our sewing superstar, Symphanie McVay! She finished her pillow today, pouring her heart and creativity into every stitch. She is the first to finish, and she was so excited to take it home. She made it special for her grandmother. This beautiful gift will surely bring smiles and warmth to her grandmother's heart. Let's show her some love for her hard work and her thoughtfulness!

Reminder: No school on Monday, October 28, due to staff professional development.

🌶️ Exciting times in Mrs. Green's Life Skills class! 🌶️

🌱 KMS Ag Science Students Harvest Fall Crops! 🌱
Our KMS Ag Science students have been hard at work in their fall garden! Over the past two weeks, they’ve harvested fresh radishes and arugula. The students had a blast tasting their homegrown produce and were thrilled to share their bounty with the KCTC Culinary Arts program. We’re so proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see what else they grow this season! It's all about learning, growing, and sharing here at KMS!
Way to go, Ag Science students! 🥬👩🌾
