KSD #39 was able to open the High School FEMA building last night for our community to seek shelter once the tornado warning was activated.
Thanks to the support from our community to build the FEMA building, we were able to welcome almost 500 people last night!

Due to the impact of the recent severe weather and ongoing power outages, KMS Volleyball will not be participating in the Jackson Invitational Tournament on Saturday, March 15.
KSD #39 would like to congratulate and recognize Mrs. Erica Key for being nominated and selected as a recipient of the "Incredible Indian" Award. Mrs. Key is a 5th-grade teacher at South Elementary. The KMS Kindness Project recently held a design contest for World Autism Awareness Day (April 2, 2025), and we’re thrilled to announce that Braelyn Jarred, an 8th-grade student, has been selected as the winner! 🎨✨
Her amazing design will be featured on shirts provided to the Special Services Department and Administration in support of autism awareness.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction Ceremony was held in the KMS gymnasium on the afternoon of Friday, March 7. 🌟 We are so proud of our hardworking students who have earned this prestigious honor!
