🌱 Our KMS Ag Science students were able to harvest arugula, kale, and spinach from our fall garden to share with the KCTC culinary arts program today. The outdoor garden provides a great hands-on learning opportunity, and it's exciting to share our produce with other students. We love being able to partner with KCTC in our learning. 🥬👩‍🌾

📣 Exciting Activity Alert in Mrs. Ellison's 6th Grade Social Studies Classes! Our KMS students stepped back in time and tried their hands at ancient writing! They wrote their names using cuneiform, the writing system developed by the Sumerians of ancient Mesopotamia. While the Sumerians used clay tablets and a reed stylus, our students got creative with play dough and wooden popsicle sticks! This hands-on project gave them a unique glimpse into history and the origins of written communication. Way to go, KMS students! 🖤💛
