🌱 KMS Ag Science Students Harvest Fall Crops! 🌱 Our KMS Ag Science students have been hard at work in their fall garden! Over the past two weeks, they’ve harvested fresh radishes and arugula. The students had a blast tasting their homegrown produce and were thrilled to share their bounty with the KCTC Culinary Arts program. We’re so proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see what else they grow this season! It's all about learning, growing, and sharing here at KMS! Way to go, Ag Science students! 🥬👩‍🌾

This is a fantastic opportunity for the younger musicians to learn directly from their more experienced peers, building both skills and confidence. It's a great way to foster leadership and collaboration within our band community. We couldn’t be more proud of our student musicians for stepping up to help each other grow. Had to share this proud moment! Keep an ear out for great things from these talented kids!

🌸Ag Science Students in Action!🌸 Our KMS Ag Science class had an exciting hands-on learning experience! Students got to dissect lilies and examine the different parts of the flower up close. Using microscopes, we observed the intricate details of the petals, stamens, pistils, and more. It was a fantastic way to explore the fascinating world of plant biology and deepen our understanding of how flowers function. Great job, everyone! Keep up the amazing work! 🔬

The KMS STEM class is off to a great start this year!  Mrs. Payne’s 7th-grade students have been working hard for several days to complete the "Design a Shoe" STEM challenge. During the challenge, students worked in groups and used the Engineering Design Process to create a prototype for a pair of shoes. They were encouraged to explore different materials, design considerations, and the functionality of the footwear. The STEM class had a runway show to celebrate their designs on October 10, 2024.
