🎄 Exciting STEM Project Alert! 🎄 Our 8th-grade STEM students are hard at work on a fun and creative community service project! The first step is building the bases for giant Nutcrackers. This is a great way to incorporate teamwork, engineering principles, and hands-on learning. Students can apply their knowledge of measurements, materials, and structural integrity as they work together to create a strong and stable foundation for these festive figures. We can’t wait to see their creations come to life and be displayed at A Small Town Christmas! A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Payne and her amazing STEM students! 🎄

KMS Esports at the SEMO Invitational 🎮 Our KMS Esports students had an incredible experience at the SEMO Esports Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri University today! We’re proud to share that many of our students made it to the semifinals in their competition blocks, showing amazing skill and teamwork. While we didn’t come away with a win this time, the team is more motivated than ever and ready to kick off competitions in January! 🖤💛

🪡🧵 Sewing is "sew" much fun! We continue to have students working hard on their pillows in Mrs. Johnson's sewing enrichment class. Mark finished his pillow yesterday and Jazmine finished two rows by hand. She'll be learning all about the sewing machine very soon.
