KMS Baseball at East Prairie canceled today, April 3.
Due to the impending weather, the KMS track meet at Kelly today, April 3, is canceled. We are rescheduling the meet for next Wednesday, April 9, at 4:00.
No practice today.
Due the nature of the potential hazardous weather, the FEMA building located at Kennett High School is now open.
KSD #39 Community: Due to inclement weather, we will be dismissing schools starting at 12:45 PM today. We are closely monitoring the weather conditions and working with the Dunklin County Emergency Management team to ensure safety. All afterschool activities at KMS are canceled for Wednesday, April 2, including afterschool tutoring and enrichment, due to the possibility of severe weather in the afternoon.
After consulting with local and national weather services about the April 2nd forecast, Kennett School District #39 will monitor the situation and may dismiss early. As always, updates will be shared via Thrillshare. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority during this weather event.

KSD #39 was able to open the High School FEMA building last night for our community to seek shelter once the tornado warning was activated.
Thanks to the support from our community to build the FEMA building, we were able to welcome almost 500 people last night!
