
Per East Prairie, this evenings KHS football game has been postponed due to weather conditions and their homecoming festivities. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m.

KHS Tennis Team had another successful day at the Sikeston Invitational Tournament. Claire Bean and Handley McAtee placed 1st in the doubles division .
Olivia Rebstock placed 1st in singles and Emory Kamper placed 2nd.

KHS Varsity Tennis Team finished strong at the Kennett Invitational this past Friday. Olivia Rebstock placed first in singles play and Emory Kamper placed third in singles. The doubles team of Claire Bean & Handley McAtee placed first in doubles and Jady Quinn & Lydia Teeter placed third in doubles. At the Jackson JV Doubles Tournament Laney Teeter & Emaelee Nelson placed second!

Congratulations to Elliott Furlow! Her artwork was chosen to represent the 25th district in the Missouri Senate Art Show. Elliott's artwork will be on display in the Missouri Capitol for one year.

Over the summer, Missouri State Vice President of Membership and Advisor Shayna Tilmon traveled to Seattle Washington to attend the FCCLA National Leadership Conference. We attended various leadership and professional development sessions while networking with other FCCLA officers, members, and advisors. We were able to see the Space Needle, Puget Sound, the Seattle Aquarium, and experience many more educational opportunities!

The FCC School Health Clinic is offering FREE Sports Physicals August 14, 9am-4pm. Physicals are required every 2 years for students participating in athletics and band.


KHS senior Handley McAtee brings home the top award at this year's annual SEMOBALL Awards in Cape Girardeau, being named Female Athlete of the Year. McAtee, along with doubles partner Claire Bean, also won female tennis athletes of the year.
KHS had 9 nominees at the 2024 SEMOBALL Awards.
