After reading the novel last semester, seniors were given the opportunity on January 21st to attend a performance of The Outsiders: A New Musical at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. This enriching experience brought the novel to life and enhanced students’ understanding of the story.

Please note that school will be in session, and while road conditions have improved in most areas, our buses will not travel on roads that remain covered in ice. I had the pleasure of attending Bad Auditions by Bad Actors on Thursday night, and I want to share just how proud I am of our Kennett High School students and Staff. They delivered a truly fabulous performance—full of energy, humor, and talent. It was clear how much hard work and heart they poured into this production.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come out and support our students. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, they have showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and dedication. I encourage everyone to join us and cheer them on.
