I had the pleasure of attending Bad Auditions by Bad Actors on Thursday night, and I want to share just how proud I am of our Kennett High School students and Staff. They delivered a truly fabulous performance—full of energy, humor, and talent. It was clear how much hard work and heart they poured into this production.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come out and support our students. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, they have showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and dedication. I encourage everyone to join us and cheer them on.

Coach Collier received the prestigious Sam Giambelluca Lifetime Achievement Award at the All Conference Banquet in Poplar Bluff. 47 years of coaching and still going strong! Congratulations, Coach!

We are thrilled to recognize Ms. Putman, Director of Food Service, for going above and beyond every single day to support our students and staff. Her work is so much more than serving meals — it’s about creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and cared for.
From planning nutritious menus that fuel learning, to meeting unique student needs with creativity and compassion, to stepping in with a smile whenever help is needed, Ms. Putman’s dedication shines in everything she does. Because of her leadership and heart, students have access to healthy meals, and staff know they can count on her to support all students.
We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact she makes on our school community each and every day.

What a great day to celebrate Senior, Ella Gardner! Today she signed to continue playing volleyball with Lyon College.
Ella has continued to be an exceptional leader academically, in the sport of volleyball in season and out, and in the weight room. That work ethic has gotten Ella to this point and will continue to set her apart.
She has been a 4 year Varsity starter, All-District and All-Conference each year, Setter of the Year her Junior year, and a SEMOBALL Award finalist from last season. With 1500+ Career Assists and 500+ Career Digs she has also been a leader in the success of our volleyball program at KHS.
We are PRETTY PROUD!! 💛
NEVER SETTLE, Ella🫡

KHS had a great Halloween. Congrats to B Building for winning our annual staff costume competition, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Crafton Binkard qualifies for the State Cross Country meet today with a time of 17.37! Another great race with everyone either matching or beating their best times. What a way to peak at the right time! So much to be proud of today, parents helping drive and chaperone, grandparents screaming at runners and probably the only school with their superintendent keeping times! I am lucky to be part of this group! Back to work Mr. Binkard we got a job to finish!
