The Kennett School District would like to take a moment to say thank you to Shield Solutions for their invaluable partnership in providing our mandatory Active School Shooter Training.
Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to keeping our schools safe were evident throughout the entire process. The training was thorough, realistic, and incredibly informative, ensuring that we are all better prepared to protect our students and staff in the unlikely event of an emergency.
Safety is always our top priority, and this training has empowered us to take proactive steps toward creating a secure environment for our community. We are stronger together, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the continued support from our law enforcement officers and Shield Solutions in this important mission.

In response to Missouri Senate Bill 68—Keeping Classrooms Focused—the Kennett #39 School District is sharing the following important announcement regarding the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices during the school day. This new state law requires all public schools to implement policies that limit or prohibit student cell phone use during instructional hours, ensuring a safe, focused, and distraction-free learning environment for every student.
