A huge thank you to our Kennett Police Department for keeping our students safe! Each morning, the department positions themselves near our schools to monitor traffic and ensure a smooth, safe start to the day. Officer Hale was near KMS this morning.

Your presence makes a difference — protecting our students, staff, and families as they arrive at school. We truly appreciate your partnership in keeping safety a top priority. 💛🖤 #CommunityFirst #StudentSafety #ThankYouKPD

The Kennett School District would like to take a moment to say thank you to Shield Solutions for their invaluable partnership in providing our mandatory Active School Shooter Training. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to keeping our schools safe were evident throughout the entire process. The training was thorough, realistic, and incredibly informative, ensuring that we are all better prepared to protect our students and staff in the unlikely event of an emergency. Safety is always our top priority, and this training has empowered us to take proactive steps toward creating a secure environment for our community. We are stronger together, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the continued support from our law enforcement officers and Shield Solutions in this important mission.
