KHS Tennis 3-peat Missouri State Doubles Champions Handley McAtee and Claire Bean along with Coaches Janet Hilburn and Hanna Hunter, were invited to the State Capitol to be recognized in the House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate for their extraordinary accomplishments.






Congratulations to five members of the Lady Indians Varsity Volleyball team for qualifying for Academic All-State. Juniors Ella Gardner, Lilli Wilson, Bella Wilson, Kynsly McCaig, and Sophomore, Olivia Raspberry played in at least 75% of Varsity matches while maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or higher! That’s a WIN, WIN for these Lady Indians!


Congratulations to Ella Gardner, 2024 Semo Conference South Setter of the Year, on being named a finalist for the SEMOBALL Awards. Ella is a Junior Setter/OH for the Lady Indians Varsity Volleyball team. We are PRETTY PROUD of you!


Congratulations to Big Kev and Abi making it through our district to take on the best in our state! Abi is the first girl wrestler to make it to the State Championships in KHS history! State Wrestling Championships at Mizzou Arena, University of Missouri - We are proud of your hard work and accomplishments this season! Representing KHS at the State Championships

The Kennett #39 School District will not be in session on Wednesday, February 19. This will be an AMI day.

Due to inclement weather, the Kennett #39 School District will release school early today at 12:45. We will make a decision about school for tomorrow as soon as possible.

The Kennett #39 School District will be in session Tuesday, February 18th. This is scheduled to be a full day of school. However, we will be closely monitoring incoming weather. There is a chance we will need to dismiss students early. We wanted to send this announcement out early for parents to have a backup plan in place in the event we do have to dismiss early.
We will send out additional information as we learn more about the incoming weather.
