Prom update: In the likely event we have rain, grand march will take place in the high school auditorium at 7:00pm on Saturday. Students should report to the high school cafeteria no later than 6:40pm.
In order to ensure we have enough space for family and community members, students will be directed to sit in the balcony after they walk across the stage.
Once the crowning ceremony is over, students are welcome to head over to the Opera House or stay and take pictures on stage or in the lobby.
An announcement will be made Saturday morning regarding the location. Thank you for your patience.👍❤️
*The Grand March will be live-streamed on KTMO 106.5 The Wolf.

Due the nature of the potential hazardous weather, the FEMA building located at Kennett High School is now open.

Due to the probability of impending weather and an abundance of caution, the High School EOC trip to Paragould will be postponed and rescheduled.

KSD #39 Community: Due to inclement weather, we will be dismissing schools starting at 12:45 PM today. We are closely monitoring the weather conditions and working with the Dunklin County Emergency Management team to ensure safety. Please stay safe, and we will provide updates as needed. #WeatherAlert #SafetyFirst

After consulting with local and national weather services about the April 2nd forecast, Kennett School District #39 will monitor the situation and may dismiss early. As always, updates will be shared via Thrillshare. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority during this weather event.
