Shout out to Mrs. Waddell who donated school supplies to Mrs. Raina, Mrs. Perdomo, and Mrs. Patterson's classes. She wanted to support these first year teachers who were all former students of hers during her time at KSD 39! We appreciate you, Mrs. Waddell!🖤💛🖤💛

Today's Masterson Kindness Superstars are Bryce and Hartlee! 🌟 Bryce offered to walk a student who was having a hard time back to class. He offered words of encouragement the whole way back. Hartlee went above and beyond to show kindness to her teacher for yesterday's kindness challenge. Now everyone is challenged to take their kindness home and wherever they are this weekend. 💜🩵💚💙💛🩷❤️🧡

🌟We want to shine a spotlight on a few more incredible Masterson Kindness superstars!🌟 Let's give a big round of applause to Kavon, Abrasia, Cal, and Jalayjiah from Second Grade. Instead of joining their friends for recess yesterday, these four amazing students chose to stay after lunch and lend a helping hand to Ms. Tracy in cleaning up the cafeteria. We couldn't be prouder of them! 👏👏👏

Cooper was Masterson's kindness superstar today. A new student started in his class this week, and Cooper took him around, showed him the class routine, and helped him throughout the day without being asked. His teacher wasn’t there, but Cooper stepped in and was a friend. He went above and beyond spreading kindness. Keep it up Cooper! ☺️❤️

During our last session of AMI Day 2, we listened to a story about Pete the Cat's snow day, and all the fun he had. Then, we compared it to our fun snow days. Everyone was excited to share something else from home. Today, we got to meet Spike the Rooster! Safe to say we have lots of animal lovers in Mrs. Patterson's class. ❄️🐓🐾
