The KMS 8th grade NJHS members did a great job today hosting the annual Easter egg hunt for the Kindergartners.

Recently, the Kennett #39 School District applied for and was approved to purchase two, electric buses at no cost to the District. Bus Drivers, Mr. Kirk and Mr. Jeff drive our electric buses daily.
A reminder that the Kennett #39 School District will host an Open House tonight for the FEMA building located on the KHS campus from 4:00-5:15 and the Girl's Basketball game will start at 6:00.

Congratulations to these KMS students for participating in the Dunklin County Math and Spelling Bee today. Also, congratulations to Norah Scherer for winning first place in the Math competition and Mileah Torres for placing second in the Spelling contest.
Kennett #39 School District will host an Open House event for the FEMA Building located at KHS on Monday, January 29, from 4:00-5:15. In addition, we will also have our first athletics event in the FEMA Building that night when our girls host Sikeston.
Good morning, below is information that was approved in our January, Board Of Education meeting that is important for those involved in athletics.
Approved August 3, 2024 - August 11, 2024, as the summertime “dead period” for all MSHSAA-sponsored activities, with the first possible practice date of August 12, 2024.
There will be NO after school tutoring or enrichment today.
KMS students: We will follow the same procedures as we did today. Thanks and stay warm!
Due to the conditions of the secondary roads, Kennett #39 School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. This will be an AMI day, and you will receive further instructions from your building principal regarding the AMI process.
