Kennett #39 School District would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Chris Wake, who has chosen to conclude his service as a member of the Board of Education after 18 years of dedicated leadership.

During his tenure, Mr. Wake worked alongside 12 fellow board members, 3 superintendents, and 2 board secretaries, helping guide our district through years of growth and change. Throughout it all, he remained a strong supporter of our staff and students and a steadfast advocate for doing what is best for all students.

Thank you, Mr. Wake, for your commitment, leadership, and lasting impact on Kennett #39 School District. Your service has made a difference, and your contributions will not be forgotten.

The FEMA building is now currently empty. We were able to accommodate 484 patrons during this evenings inclement weather. As a reminder, if you have a pet that you want to bring with you, your proper documentation is required. Thank you again for another safe evening.

🚨 Free Sports & Band Physicals Available! 🏈⚽🥁

The FCC School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) will be offering FREE physicals for Atheltics and Band for students at KMS and KHS on Thursday, March 19.

📄 Forms are available from your coach, band director, or school nurse.
⏰ Completed paperwork must be turned in by the end of the day on March 17 in order to participate.

This is a great opportunity for students planning to participate in sports or band activities to complete their required physical at no cost.

Please contact your school nurse, coach, or band director if you have any questions.

South and KHS students received their second application of fluoride varnish today.

Today, Masterson and Middle School students who had a signed consent form on file at the beginning of the school year received their second application of fluoride varnish.

Fluoride varnish is a quick and easy way to help strengthen teeth and prevent cavities. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

A Mobile Food Pantry will be held Tuesday, March 3, in the east parking lot of First United Methodist Church.
This event is sponsored by the Kennett Middle School Teen Outreach Program (TOP), in partnership with First United Methodist Church, who graciously provides the location and facility support.
Per SEMO Food Bank guidelines, a maximum of two boxes will be distributed per vehicle. This event is open to Dunklin County residents with a valid ID.
