The Kennett Middle School Administration was made aware of a potential threat made by a Kennett Middle School student toward another individual at the Kennett Middle School.
The Kennett Police Department, along with the Dunklin County Juvenile Office, conducted an investigation this evening. At this time, there is no indication of any ongoing threat to our schools, students, or staff.
We want to thank our local Law enforcement and those who reached out to report this matter. Your partnership plays an essential role in maintaining the safety of our students and staff.
As always, the safety and well-being of our students remain our top priority.

I had the pleasure of attending Bad Auditions by Bad Actors on Thursday night, and I want to share just how proud I am of our Kennett High School students and Staff. They delivered a truly fabulous performance—full of energy, humor, and talent. It was clear how much hard work and heart they poured into this production.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come out and support our students. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, they have showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and dedication. I encourage everyone to join us and cheer them on.

The Kennett 7th grade girls basketball team will proceed to the Championship game at 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 20. They will play the winner of Malden and Portageville. The tournament is at Campbell High School.
