Message from the Superintendent
Good evening, families and community members,
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and we are excited to see everyone back on campus! Please note that school will be in session, and while road conditions have improved in most areas, our buses will not travel on roads that remain covered in ice. Student safety is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding. We also ask everyone to use extreme caution when loading and unloading at each campus. Students, don’t forget to bring your Chromebook back to school with you!

The KHS Girls Wrestling team had a successful trip to the SEMO Conference Tournament, held in Farmington. The team finished the tournament with a 5th place finish overall.
The team competed hard and we had several come home with medals. Heather Jones brought home the silver medal in her weight class. There were four other girls who came home with the bronze medal in their respective classes. They are Ryleigh Harrell, Ariel Webster, Janaysia Pittman, and Bella Puga. Special mention to Kiera Thompson for winning after injuring her shoulder and having to pull out due to injury. Congratulations !!
