KSD #39 Weather Announcement

After reviewing road conditions across the district, we have identified several areas with hazardous side-road conditions. As a result, KSD #39 will utilize our third AMI Day tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026.

KSD #39 transports more than 1,000 students each day, and the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor road and weather conditions closely and will communicate our decision regarding a return to in-person learning as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe.

The KHS Girls Wrestling team had a successful trip to the SEMO Conference Tournament, held in Farmington. The team finished the tournament with a 5th place finish overall. The team competed hard and we had several come home with medals. Heather Jones brought home the silver medal in her weight class. There were four other girls who came home with the bronze medal in their respective classes. They are Ryleigh Harrell, Ariel Webster, Janaysia Pittman, and Bella Puga. Special mention to Kiera Thompson for winning after injuring her shoulder and having to pull out due to injury. Congratulations !!
