Reminder about the South School Holiday Toy and Canned Food Drive! Our boxes are low and need to be filled! As an effort to get more Toys and Canned goods, ANY student who brings a toy or non perishable/canned good item can wear Pajamas on Wednesday or a Hat on Thursday of next week. Come on South School, we can do this! Let's support our community and help others!

Over the last several weeks, 5th grade students have been learning about the components of Earth's spheres and ways that they interact with each other. Students developed models showing situations where the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and/or biosphere are interacting. #fifthgradescientists #SouthStudentsSucceed

Congratulations to all of the 5th grade participants in the 5th & 6th grade math and spelling contests! And a special congratulations to Delilah Hamlett (3rd place spelling) and Nolon Smallmon (4th place spelling)!

South School raised $225 for the Kennett Humane Department during our "Halloween for Hounds" Community Fundraiser. We love giving back to our community. Congrats to Mrs. Key's class for winning the competition and raising the most money. South School's donation is being used to give a much needed surgery to a dog at the shelter. 🐶❤️
