Here are some more pictures from our Kenny Rogers Children's Center visit! After our tour, we even got to try out the zip line that they have inside the facilities!

Over the past couple weeks South Elementary 5th grade students have been completing a service project in STEM class. Our project was to make modified crayons and donate them to the Kenny Roger's Children's Center's Occupational Therapy department to help children that receive occupational therapy services work on their dexterity and finger strength! Today, a group of 5th grade students had the opportunity to deliver our service project to the center! We were able to receive a tour of the awesome facilities and learn about all of the amazing therapy opportunities the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center has to offer for children right here in Southeast Missouri!

Recently, the Kennett #39 School District applied for and was approved to purchase two, electric buses at no cost to the District. Bus Drivers, Mr. Kirk and Mr. Jeff drive our electric buses daily.

These students used PBIS points to purchase time to play Mario Kart!

A reminder that the Kennett #39 School District will host an Open House tonight for the FEMA building located on the KHS campus from 4:00-5:15 and the Girl's Basketball game will start at 6:00.

Sterling spent some of his PBIS points to eat lunch with teachers! It's always entertaining with him! ❤️

These students loved spending PBIS points to serve as the lunch assistant!
