Mental Health Matters!


Recently, the Kennett #39 School District applied for and was approved to purchase two, electric buses at no cost to the District. Bus Drivers, Mr. Kirk and Mr. Jeff drive our electric buses daily.

A reminder that the Kennett #39 School District will host an Open House tonight for the FEMA building located on the KHS campus from 4:00-5:15 and the Girl's Basketball game will start at 6:00.

Kennett #39 School District will host an Open House event for the FEMA Building located at KHS on Monday, January 29, from 4:00-5:15. In addition, we will also have our first athletics event in the FEMA Building that night when our girls host Sikeston.

Good morning, below is information that was approved in our January, Board Of Education meeting that is important for those involved in athletics.
Approved August 3, 2024 - August 11, 2024, as the summertime “dead period” for all MSHSAA-sponsored activities, with the first possible practice date of August 12, 2024.

Good afternoon, the Kennett #39 School District will not have afterschool tutoring today as there is potential for inclement weather this evening.

Due to the conditions of the secondary roads, Kennett #39 School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. This will be an AMI day, and you will receive further instructions from your building principal regarding the AMI process.

Time to celebrate! Tiffani Casper, RN, BSN, recently completed and passed the exam to be recognized as a National Certified School Nurse. Tiffani is now one of 174 school nurses in Missouri who have this level of certification. Congratulations Tiffani!
