On Wednesday, Sports and Entertainment Marketing and the Marketing Co-Op classes learned from Kennett's own, Gary Figgins about Branding and Logos that tell a story. Mr. Figgins brings a wealth of knowledge and experience through his magazine, Show-Me Missouri and his work with the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Kennett on this very topic! Thank you, Mr. Figgins on a very engaging day!

Kennett Board of Public Works Partners with KCTC to Provide Internship Opportunities

Students at the Kennett Career and Technology Center (KCTC) recently had the opportunity to hear from representatives of the Kennett Board of Public Works (KBPW) about the many internship opportunities available within their organization. These internships provide valuable, real-world experience in several key departments, including Natural Gas, Water/Sewer, Information Technology, and Fleet Mechanics.
As a proud Partner in Education with KCTC, KBPW has hosted 11 interns over the past two years, with four of those students transitioning into full-time positions. This collaboration provides students with meaningful hands-on learning experiences while helping to strengthen the local workforce and community.
KCTC extends its sincere appreciation to the Kennett Board of Public Works for their continued partnership and investment in our students’ career development and success.
