Students

Students have an inherent right to an individual education in accord with their mental and physical qualifications. The objectives of this education are the personal development of mind, body, and character; and the desire for self-support and effective citizenship.

Post-secondary Students

Classes that are available to post-secondary students on a tuition basis. The length of program duration could be shorted by attending class for a full day. Financial aid is available in most programs for students who qualify. Further information may be obtained by contacting the Area Vocational Technical School.

Guidance/placement

A vocational guidance/placement program is in place to help students better understand their individual interests, needs, and abilities. Students should feel free to consult the guidance/placement coordinator in matters such as course selection, vocational goals, and career preparation.

The placement program is engaged in providing job seeking services to students completing their vocational training as well as those who terminate their training prior to completion. A qualify placement program enables the student to make a smooth transition from the classroom to the world of work.
