Our district is excited to announce that Dr. Craig Boykin will be coming back to Kennett for several student presentations!
We also would like to invite all parents, students, and community members to a presentation on Thursday, October 4 from 6:00-7:00 at the Kennett High School auditorium. Free refreshments will be provided.

21st CCLC Family Movie Night at the Palace Theater

The Kennett School District #39 21st CCLC After School Program invites KMS and KHS students, parents and family members to Family Movie Night at the Palace Theater on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 to kick off the holiday season with "ELF". Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Showtime is at 6:30 p.m. Movie admission is Free. All attendees will receive a free small popcorn and drink with free popcorn refills and $1 drink refills. Movie goers may upsize their popcorn and soda for an additional charge as well as purchase additional concession items.

1:30 pm - Homecoming parade will begin, leaving from the west parking lot of KHS and moving east towards the square.
2:00 pm - The downtown ceremony will begin at the Dunklin County Courthouse. This year's speaker will be Ms. Sally McVey.
Pre-Game - Royalty procession into Metz Cherry Stadium; KHS Indians take the field and fans are invited to join the KHS cheerleaders on the field to form a spirit tunnel for the team
7:00 - Kickoff KHS vs NMCC
End of 1st Quarter - Winner of the KHS class float competition will be announced
Half-Time - Homecoming Royalty presented and the KHS Marching Indians field show will be held
***Students in PM Preschool and in South Elementary will walk to St. Francis Street to watch the homecoming parade. Students at Masterson will ride buses to St. Francis to watch the parade. These students will all return to their respective schools immediately following the parade to be dismissed at regular time.
***KHS students will be dismissed at 12:42, with KMS students being dismissed at 1:30, to walk to the downtown area to watch the parade. Both KMS and KHS students who ride buses will be able to load their afternoon bus at KMS at the regular dismissal time.
