Students will be dismissed March 27-31 for Spring Break.  We will resume our regular schedule on Monday, April 3.  We hope everyone has an enjoyable and relaxing break.

South Elementary Book Fair

Kennett Athletic Hall of Fame

Beginning again in the Fall of 2017, Kennett will annually recognize past Kennett athletes, teams, and those who have served Kennett athletics, with a Hall of Fame induction.  A procedure has been put in place.  A nomination form and the criteria for Hall of Fame induction can be found on our school district website and the district Facebook page.

Hour of Code 
Kennett Public Schools will be participating in Hour of Code again this year. Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education week. This year it is December 5-11. It started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has gone on to be the largest learning event in history, reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries.

Interscholastic Youth Sports Brain Injury Report - MSHSAA

Please note that per HB-300 regulations, MSHSAA has released its annual Interscholastic Youth Sports Brain Injury Report regarding the impact of student athlete concussions and head injuries and the efforts that have been made to minimize damages from school sports injuries on the MSHSAA website.  This report is located by going to and then going to the SPORTS MEDICINE TAB.

Flu Vaccine

The Dunklin County Health Department (DCHD), in cooperation with Kennett Schools, will be offering the flu vaccine for students again this year.   For a copy of the Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) for Inactive (injection), please click here.
